My cousin actually has that exact one. Had to send it back in to get fixed 6 months into ownership. :/

For what?
And why do you believe the Razer would be any different?
My old razer gear got worn down pretty quick.
Razer Lycosa, Razer Lachesis and Razer Mamba. I'm diff never going to get razer again. Price/quality doesn't match.

My brother still uses his MSI GT60 from mid 2012.

Just as a note; in most cases you shouldn't give too much weight for personal experiences regarding single item breaking. It is a coinflip whether his laptop breaks or not.

If you have a notable percentage of the user base reporting issues it's another thing.

1800p > 1080. I barely used screentouch, but it's helpful while using Excel/Word/Whatever.

You can adjust the resolution and the size by the time you play videogames/surface the web.

Ahh. Yea that's just my excuse I suppose. The main reason why I didn't like the MSI laptops is the design (numpad on the right side) and the fact that it isn't "sleek" (in my opinion) like the Razer (which looks like a black macbook pro)

But will if it was my money. I wouldn't have used the extra 300$ on 1800p for a 14" monitor. I would have considered it at 17.3".
Pixel density is fine comparing how far you are from the monitor.

otherwise

What you should do is scale up like 175% in windows.
And play your games at 1080p. On 1800p a lot of game will take a performance hit.

Hey. I never said I like mac's interface! I just like the build quality and how clean it looks. (I also use iPhone). To me performance is important, but only up to a certain extent, after which Looks brings it home for me.

Fair enough point on on the 1800 vs 14 inch though, I suppose it will not be too noticeable

The Macbook Pro is by far the nicest looking and most well designed laptop on the market, bar none. the Air and original Pros from 2008 were half a decade ahead of their time and only now; 5-8 generations later have Windows laptops caught up with elegant looking models like the Spectre and XPS 13/15.

but the new 2015 Macbook and 2016 MBP are right back on the throne and head & shoulders above the competetion...

So looking like a black macbook is probably the biggest compliment you could give a windows laptop xD

Who the hell cares how the thing looks? Macs are garbage.

Let's not mention the new macbook with only type C connections.. Name 3 reasons it's worth the price they want.

Yeah I'm out. Diff not getting into another apple discussion.
I call it! One day they announce it all was just a social experiment.
