Aren't consoles great? It would be so awesome if you could plug some headphones in the back and call it a day.

So you have a ps3 and pc and want headphones compatible with both. Good luck with that. Most of them suck. Best bet is to use Rikuo's mix amp and some nice headphones.

Consoles suck we all know
But a lot of us still grew up with a console before a PC and thats why i love my ps3 still. It has all my classics on there like Resident Evils, Silent Hills, Metal Gear Solids etc

Idk where this notion comes from that a cross platform headset being inferior in sound quality comes from...

Barring the likes of some Sennheisers, Audio Technica and the likes, sony has been in the game a lot longer than all these trendy Turtlebeaches, razors etc

My pulse headset trumps most of my friends/teammates headsets in CSGO. They always wonder what I use because I hear more than their $200 headset lol...

Ive considered the Sennheiser GAME ZERO headset or whatever it id but its still a bit out of my budget and hasnt dropped in price in Canada in its 2+ years really plus it appears I need an after market soundcard to fully utilize its features? Also seemingly not gonna work for ps3.

Ps thanks for all the feedback

No one here will recommend you Turtle Beaches.

Everyone here will recommend you Sennheisers, Audio Technica, and Beyerdynamic for < $200 headphones. Which is what you want.

Consoles are fun no doubt! I just hate the proprietary bs they always tack-on.
