Well hate to really burst the bubble, but playing bf1 on max settings with a 390 isn't gonna happen. My old 6600k that I oc'd to 4.7 with a 390 couldn't even play fc4 maxed out at 1080p.

If you're only really playing WoW then yes buy a new cpu. If you plan to play a variety of games, gtx 1080.


6100 will bottleneck the fuck out of a 1080 its bottlenecking the 390

a 6600k/390 will not beat a 6100/1080.

Sure it's bottle necking but look at what he's working with.

any cpu intensive game is going to suffer with that cpu

most wow players seem to multitask while gaming, not sure if he does but that would benefit with other programs running
