Yes you can. lol

Even if the color profile doesn't get you all the way there, you can definitely use those and tweak it manually from there. It works fine and took my monitor (and many people that posted in that thread) from really flat and washed out colors to a beautiful display. Witcher 3 looks gorgeous, even compared to my buddy's IPS monitor. It's not as good (obviously), but it's really not bad by any means.

yes its a starting point but panels arent going to have same settings all the time, if you used a professional calibrator you will see each would be completely different, this even applies to ips
very few companies calibrate them before sending them off

Just saying it worked for me (and apparently a lot of other people) when they wanted to make their VG248QE's look better. Although I can't really speak for those Ben Q monitors, I know my Asus looks great. I don't have any issue with headaches that some people seem to get.

144hz and fast response time 250$, overall the best if you play FPS and/or competitive gaming. (Personally i prefer it)

60hz IPS 160$, Better coloring and veiwing angle. Its cheaper and better if you do a bit of editing.

Gsync is REALLY not needed. And you will PAY for it, the cheapest monitor with G-Sync is 380$

Vsync enabled at 144hz with leave you with pretty much no screen tearing.

I actually used the icc profile i found online for my xb270hu, Then did my own profile with a colormunki smile & DispCalGui, It was way off.

It MIGHT get you closer than the factory settings, But can actually make it works sometimes too.
