Picked up a Phantek and it is running much better. However, I now cannot boot, getting a red light on the vga. Took out video card and used onboard connection, worked OK. Put video card in different slot, fired right up. However, went to restart and red light again.

I am leaning towards PSU, however it is less than 2 years old, really not expecting it that soon.

Thoughts?

List case and PSU make/model separately...

Get SPECCY here: http://www.piriform.com/speccy/download
...get the FREE version from the: Piriform Link
...Speccy is a really nice system hardware/temperature, information Utility.
...simply install it...and run the program...then post a screen shot of the main page of the program, when posting a problem/question on these forums.

Took the vid card out and popped back in first pci slot, took a minute to boot up. Thanks Ghot:

Nice temps. :)

Sometimes, if screw holding vid card to case, gets tightened too much...it can make the other end of the vid card rise and break contact in PCI-E slot. Sometimes vid card is not seated...fully.
Either that or one of the cables wasn't connected properly.

/e If it happens again, I guess we look for other problems.

It was odd, did not have issues until I replaced the cpu fan. It ran well yesterday, until I restarted it.

Will keep you posted. Thanks again Ghot.

Every time we stick our hands into a comp...we might just...bump something. Sometimes that's all it takes.
When changing a CPU cooler fan we have many opportunities to bump the vid card and the RAM. :)
