/e Try re-seating the RAM too. Sometimes, it can cause black monitor issues.
/ee I assume you checked the obvious things...Make sure you didn't accidentally kick the monitor power plug.
Unplug any other USB devices...except for the keyboard and mouse.
Try turning the monitor ON.
Make sure the monitor is still set to the correct input (via the monitor OSD)
