It's definitely a heat issue. Via PM.

We got his idle core temp to 35C. He plays a game with a few chat clients running...and the thing goes to 75C.


I've attempted to get him to set the (stock?) CPU cooler to 100% fan speed. I just sent him directions on thermal compound ...replacement.
