That REAL review of External HDDs that I linked, has the WD My Book at 148 MB/s...
Here is my WD 2TB Black internal drive on a SATA III port, rather than USB 3.0...

Point is...a WD My Book on USB 3.0...is almost as fast as an internal WD Black 7200rpm on SATA III

but its not a black with a longer warranty and not as fast.

spend the extra 10$ get a more reliable drive with a better warranty and faster speeds and a better case.

nothing wrong with green tbh but for 10$ might as well get that extra 3 year warranty and better speeds.
