@ OP... they are both trolling...ofc, you can mount the logo either way, but none of that is important.

What is important is that when you are mounting the heatsink on the CPU, be very careful, tightening down the 4 screws.

They must be tightened only a few threads at a time in a kitty-corner method. Then repeat, until they are all tightened down.

But the logo does matter.

If you're spending the time to do something nice why cheap out half way.

The 6700K is a fairly delicate CPU, if you don't mount the cooler properly like I described, it can break the CPU pcb.

/e Use this as a guide....tighten the screws only a few turns on each in this order...then repeat.

While skylake is a thinner PCB than older cpu's, It by no means will break just from tightening the screws out of order.

With the Cooler Master you can crack ANY CPU's pcb.

/e They explain how to tighten the screws... in the directions. Which ofc, are almost impossible to read. :)

/ee On top of everything else...if you don't do the screws like I said, you will find out for yourself that it will be impossible to get, let's say screw #2 to even reach where it goes, if you tighten screw #1 all the way down. Just as an example.

Now you're at the easy part. :)

/e Just make sure you use the ASUS Q-connector for the case's front panel wires...makes those a WHOLE lot easier. :)

Well, the way you guys do things...for all the gear in your cases..yeah. But this is just a simple build.

/e @OP... make sure you plug the fan of the CPU cooler into the connector marked with the RED dot. Also, make sure the RAM is installed in the slots marked with the BLUE dots.

Both connector #1's get wires from the power supply.

Connector 19 gets the audio wire from the case
Connectors 14 are for the USB 2.0 wires from the case
Either connector #6 gets the USB 3.0 wires from the case.
Connector #11, get the ASUS Q-connector, after you plug all the other case wires into it.

Plug your drives into ...the connectors shown with the BLUE dots.

Vid card goes into the PCIEX16_1 slot...and it gets an 8 pin connector from the power supply.
Do NOT mix it up with the 8pin connector that goes to the top...#1 connector, on the motherboard.

Most important of all...BEFORE installing Windows, make sure "SATA Mode selection" is set to AHCI, as shown by the YELLOW dot. :)
