I gave you the reason.
Either accept it or don't but it is the reason.

Yeah, even I know that. But where do problems occur temps wise. Like what are the limits.

I guess I'm asking one of y'all Intel folks to explain the relationship tween the core temps and the CPU temp...Intel -wise.

/e I can't seem to find a consistent answer.

/ee

Best info I could find...so far:

TCase is 74.04C (max temp for temperatures on the IHS). Cores usually go higher than that, and throttling occurs around 90C, I think. As long as your CPU heatsink is working, cores will throttle long before your IHS temperatures hit 74C, thus lowering the frequency, voltage, and thus, temperature.

Intel 4790K overclocked ( I lost the PM where he said how much... 4.6 I think?)
Fractal Design R5 case
Corsair H110 cooler
From a diff s/s it looks like 1.28v

Like what's the max. core temp...and max. CPU temp. I found 72.72C ...on cpu-world...but it doesn't say whether core or CPU package.

Hell with it...it looks ok to me.

51C after 6 min. AIDA stress test. With max. temp being 74C

It's Miller time!!

On ark-Intel I found Tcase 74C and that it's the CPU temp, rather than the core temps.

/e Lemme do this...pretend I bought an Intel CPU and I can't/don't want to delid.

How hot is too hot?

/e Or...does everything in the pic look OK considering an AIO cooler, small overclock, short stress test?

shits fine. Those normal temps, remember he's not technically supposed to OC it.
upgrade case, lower ambient temps, lower voltage or delid/lap.
