SO what you are saying is that this is a single drive ? what is the size of the partitions ?
Depending on which OS you are using you could just resize the partitions of the drive by going into the admintools\ computer\management then selecting the disk management that should be in the right hand side column

Well here's the answer...

1. Get Mini-Tools Partition Wizard boot CD here: http://www.partitionwizard.com/download.html
2. Use IMGBurn here: http://www.imgburn.com/ ...to burn the Partition Wizard boot CD.iso to a CD or DVD (has to be blank)
3. Boot from the Partition Wizard Boot CD...then you can shrink the 1TB partition that is touching the 40GB partition.
4. Then simply resize the 40GB partition to take up the space you gained by shrinking the 1TB partition.

/e Might have to make the bootable CD on another comp...but then you can BOOT your comp from the CD right into the partitioning software ;)

Thanks a lot.
Assuming you're not currently trying to mislead me, how do you use IMGBurn to do that ? I can't find any .iso file

Thanks a lot.

scroll to bottom of page in step one...till u see this: Free Download Bootable CD Now! to the left and a little down click on: Local Download ...aand save this file to desktop: pwhe811.iso

Then at the ImgBurn link... on top left click on download and get ImgBurn from Mirror #7 ..install it...run it...at top left click on "Write Image File to Disc" ...under Source, browse to the pwhe811.iso that you saved to desktop by clicking the little yellow folder icon ...put CD or DVD in optical drive for your destination ...then on the lower right set the slowest burn speed you can...like 2x or 4x. Then on the middle left the little picture will light up...click it to burn the .iso to the CD or DVD.

After you have it made....make sure you don't lose it..it's very useful. It can do any partitioning tasks, before windows loads.
partition. It'll look something like this...

You can either grab the slider at top left and shrink the partition to the right of the C: partition...by like 200GB...or you can type 200000.0 in the box labeled: "Unallocated Space Before" ...both do the same thing.

Then at top left of program Windows click the big APPLY arrow...wait till it's done. Then highlight the C: partition and choose move/resize again...and just put the 200GB you took from the other partition in the box labeled: Unallocated Space After...then click the APPLy arrow.

It will then resize your C: partition to 240GB, without losing any data.

Partition Magic can also do this, but with no need to boot to it. Cnet's probably the best place to get it nowadays.

So can EaseUS, but OP said his C: drive is too full to download. Also, partition Magic is a 32bit program, doesn't work well, if at all on Win 7 x64.

Op also said his C: drive is too full, to even RUN any more programs.

Simplest solution is resize C: partition...easiest way to do that is Partition Wizard Boot CD ^^

Then...after it's resized with the Partition Wizard Boot CD (free) ..simply install EaseUS Partition Master (free) ON your C: partition, which will allow you to solve issues like this, before it gets to the point of no return...

Then you can tweak your partitions to your heart's content. EaseUs Partition Master, can do much more than Windows Disk Management.

EaseUs Partition Master:

@ Qord EaseUs Partition Master IS Partition Magic for 64 bit systems. I too, used Partition Magic for years, EaseUS is the same program, just up to date.

I managed to download EaseUS by deleting some rubbish on my C

What can I do now ? Seems like I can't move unallocated room to C since it's on a different disk.
Are these disks physical disks ? I mean, is there a way or not to transfer my 900+ unallocated gbs to my C ?
Hell, I'm starting to think the people who sold this computer to me really decided to screw with me.
Pic related...

>ON your C: partition

Oh wait, did it on my D:
Does it really matter ? Perhaps I can get to install it on C if I delete some more rubbish, but I doubt it will change anything, will it ?
