he so i bought this head set and after a little while(few hours) of playing and chatting online the music started going high and lower volumes without touching the dial

why might this be?

yea, cos i normally use the front
well im not sure which 1 is the sound card. could they both be?
& the mic is plugged into the front
headset into back
i don't even remember buying a sounds card. it must have came with the motherboard

Motherboards come with onboard sound.

Front panel is just a wire that plugs into the motherboard, So the front and back are essentially the same thing.


Did you disable windows voice chat bullshit?
By default it lowers all other sound by like 60%~ when you're using your mic.


Only thing i can think of that would change your volume, Other then just the songs being different volumes.

nah in the middle of each song it goes up and down. and ive listened to all these songs b4 and it didnt do that

how do i change windows voice

k when i shut my mic off it works so ill have to figure out how to change that. any1 know?

Right click your speaker icon in the bottom right of your bar -> click playback devices -> click the tab that says communications -> Click the bullet that says "Do nothing"

Apply -> done.
