it's called google for 30 mins and you know it

Been there done that, it's full of people who don't know what they're talking about contradicting each other.

One article will tell you in no uncertain terms that faster memory will drastically improve performance in any system, another will tell you that becasue RAM isn't bottlenecking the performance of modern systems getting faster RAM will render 0 performance gains.

My assumption is that, logically, from what I know about PCs there should be no noticable performance gains from getting more or faster RAM unless you are running enough programs that you require more memory that you physically have.

Just get a nice looking set of 1600MHz 1.5v, won't be worth spending anymore money on better timing or speed.

On a side note if you do get 1600MHz modules you might have to force the voltage in the BIOS as my LGA2011 board with 1600MHz kept BSOD'ing if I set the RAM to 1600MHz until I forced the voltage to 1.5v (Obviously this is if you have 1.5v RAM and not 1.65v)

According to formula 2400 cl10 > 2133 cl9
But the 2400 has 1.65v whereas 2133 has 1.6v
