Clean desktop is clean. All i do to get icons is double click then my sorted Utilities and browsers come up in small catagorized areas.

Rain meter is a Customizable desktop overlay. My setup is one of thousands.

http://rainmeter.net/cms/ thats the program for it... Google up rainmeter skins and read instructions.

It really is, You can set them up to have a music player, Weather, News. And from what i see it doesnt even use up much ram at all
