Is this a legit copy of the game?
Whats your cpu temp?
Give me more information than "it shuts down", is it a blue screen, does the system freeze before it shuts down, etc?
Do you have newest drivers or have you re installed?

its the original game ( working on my cousins pc )

cpu temp is about 44°C

no blue screen, no error occurs ( except in event viewer --> application error )
sound is "lagging" like something is overheated and screen turns black, pc still runs but no signal for monitor etc, only thing working hold the "turn on" button till system reboots

all latest drivers are installed ( except for graphic card since the latest drivers only work for vista and win 7 )

Have you checked the ram usuage while youre playing? Try to run it in compatibility mode also. I read that youre using xp, is your cousins pc also xp and the same gpu?

cpu usage is about 40-50% i guess

no he is using win 7 and a different gpu

since oblivion requires atleast xp changing campatibillity mode doesnt make sense does it ?
