You would have to download the Vista Home Premium 64bit disc (OEM probably) and install from there.

fyi your comp rating would be a 4.8 after you bought that vid card, unless the card itself received a lower rating than your cpu.

I kept hinting about it, so my dad bought me a full version of windows 7 home premium 64bit :) when I first installed it I didn't delete the old partion so when I started the computer, it gave me an option to get into vista or 7 LOL so I called the tech department at support.microsoft and they guided me thru it, deleted the partitions, formatted and now 7 is on 64bit :) this operating system is SOOO nice :) but I still need a video card <_<

Lol. Well done.

What games do you currently play or why games do you think you may want to play coming up?

well that's the thing, I'm just getting into all this computer gaming stuff and having only the on board graphics prevents me from playing most anything that is fairly new on the market
I have an open mind to do just about anything, I know my processor isn't the best in the world, but it's dual core 64bit capable and 2.00gh/z that's good enough for many games imo
and I have the 4 gigs of ram so that really helps, and now having win7 64 bit will help I'm sure, so any decent video card would be better than having only on board graphics, as I said I think the max I would pay
is around $150.00 that should be plenty imo, I just don't know which one to pick, there are so many to choose from
