I do not hear good things about the ABS M1, it has problems with its 6-key rollover... A better, but more expensive one that also uses a similar type of ALPS switch is this one by filco: http://elitekeyboards.com/products.php?sub=filco_keyboards,majestouch_87key&pid=fkbn87zeb

How would you rate these ALPS switches to cherry blues or browns? I never notice that keyboard before. The price is VERY VERY tempting.

The people on the geekhack forums are torn about whether they like cherry or alps better, so I'm pretty sure it's a personal preference thing. Unfortunately, I have no experience with ALPS switches. It's most likely the next type of keyboard I'll buy since I know what a lot of the other popular ones feel like, but still no luck with getting my hands on an ALPS board that I'm interested in.
