is that the motherboard, also do i have reinstall win if i buy new ram

No you don’t have to reinstall windows to upgrade RAM and no that’s not the motherboard. If you take the side panel off the tower, you should be able to take a picture of your boards model number. If you can at least take a picture of 1 stick of RAM you have currently installed, I can work with that. I need the model information off it, so you will have to take it out and then put it back after pic.

Thanks!

so this info shows you have 4 slots, if so you would just need another 16GB set. With RAM, you really want to keep the same RAM you already have installed. So I would still like a pic of 1 stick you already have and maybe even a pic of the board where your RAM sits to confirm there are 4 slots.

So the first pic is your RAM but I still need to know its model number. There are a bunch of different DDR4 RAMs made by that manufacturer. So a pic of the side I can’t see should have the model number on it.

Do you know how to safely remove RAM?
