yes and to further test this once you've checked above you can just put in 1 stick (see motherboard manual again) at a time and test if it boots with just 1 stick, if it works with 1 and doesnt with the other.... there's your problem

I agree, this is definitely something I can do and report back but what happens when both sticks still show the orange light lol. The computer works perfectly fine though, wouldn't something not work or malfunction? It's so odd.

If you could try booting with a single stick in that as this test is pretty painless.. It would at least narrow it down some more 👍

Did you check your boot order in bios? Maybe it's trying to initialize in wrong order?

You can also try unplugging the USB header from the board (start with USB 3 if it has it, then USB 2 by the audio header, then unplug audio header, one at a time to see if it's a case feature that is malfunctioning or maybe on the wrong pins and is shorting out.

Same goes for actual USB devices, unplug everything but mouse and keyboard.

Ex. If you have a USB plugged in even, it could potentially have boot media and cause delayed start up if it tries to read it.

This is why I'm going to buy a pre-built when I upgrade.

People think building a computer is just putting the pieces together but it's really like jamming screwdrivers into your eye sockets. Unpleasant.
You run into problems and then when you fix them you don't even know why so it's not like you're learning anything.
I did that for years and I'm over it. I'll just pay someone to build it for me and ship it to me.

But sorry, go on. Good luck with your thing. i support you I just wouldn't want to be you, and reading your thread gave me flashbacks to frustration and back pain. Not your fault. I'm gonna go have my opinions somewhere else.

To stay relevant, please refer to the diagram below for my suggestion:
