I believe raw is the unprocessed version of your photo.

yeah i know, which is why i was trying it out. it turns out, it's more hassle then it's worth for those who don't edit their photos. so i'll be stick with the regular JPEG format. 10MB an image does not worry me, and you can't zoom in worth dick on the 5MP version ( the high res version is 34MP ).

Sent my Denon headphones in to be repaired (broken hinge) got them back today. Tail was definitely wagging, finally get my hi-fi quality sound back not to mention the superb comfort of the soft leather pads I've missed so dearly.

No more shitty sounding/uncomfortable beats/koss porta pros (got them for free ages ago) !

Seriously? Well done, I have the D5000s as Rikuo mentioned. Getting these back after 3 weeks without them almost gives me the same feeling as a new product arriving, those DJ-Beats headphones seriously hurt my ears; after one hour it felt like some one physically picked me up by the ears, PortaPros are good for the money but I'm not a fan of 20 dollar headphones lol.

I need mah 800 dollar mahogany/soft leather cans.

How do you like the D7100's, have you tried other high-end headphones like D5K/D7000? They have them in my nearest hi-fi store but I didn't get a chance to test them.

IMO the D7000s are not worth the upgrade over D5000s, they even sounded inferior in some areas (deep bass) and here the price difference is huge ($1000 vs $1600...) the D7100s are replacing the D7000s but they are priced closer to the D5000s here, more like $1100-ish. I dislike the design, I prefer the all-mahogany cups of the last generation.
