what i was trying to say was:
Is there any way that i can get the pics that came in the default backgrounds selection area and add them to the newly created folder?
Yeah that's easy all except for the hidden ones. Don't even mess with those...they are US-wp1.jpg through US-wp2.jpg, you MAY be able to copy those but don't try to move them.
Just navigate to: C:\Windows\web\wallpaper....copy them w/e you want to, but I don't see the NEED to copy them to a different location. You can just right click the desktop, choose: Personalize, then at bottom left choose: Desktop Background, and then at top left in the drop down box choose Windows desktop Wallpapers.
Any pics you download you can just put in your system Pictures folder and they too will appear in that drop down box under: Pictures Library
/e
What's your screen resolution? You don't have to "download" pics...you can just right click almost any pic on the internet and choose COPY, then open Paint or w/e image editor you use, and choose: Edit > paste. Then edit the pic however you want..then save as .bmp to w/e folder you create for wallpapers, or save as .jpg in your system Pictures folder.
For any Windows ...windows that don't have the old XP Menu Bar at the top...just hit the left ALT key to get the Menu Bar for that window.
C:\Windows\web\wallpaper .....pics should be saved here as Windows .jpg
C:\Users\..user name..\Pictures ...pics should be saved as .jpg
