Well... I held on for as long as I could... Been eyeing those Massdrop K7xx edition headphones since they came out..
But unfortunately I could no longer resist, As now... THEY COME IN RED

HOLY FUCK THESE LOOK SO NICE

Nice. What other colors? What's different about these too?

Those are nice. I wish they came in another color. Do you have fit Q701 headphones? Tell me how different they sound.

They've only ever came in Black before.

I voted on red 4 months ago when the poll popped up :lol:


No bumps on the headband
Softer earpads (Same as the k712 pro iirc)
Drivers out of the k702 65th annie edition
RED
The red ones have their own serial numbers :3
+3db low end on these compared to reg 701's, Smoother highs too
These dont have dog teeth marks/rips from my dog, unlike my q701's :/

65th annie edition were orange, so i doubt theyll do k7xx in orange

Nvm was the k712 pro that are orange.

Should put the $200 towards an upgrade instead of just side grading in mid-fi, :P

Still regret side grading so many times before getting my HE500.

It is an upgrade. A better pair of 700 line for a great price. Then sell the Q701 for 150 - 200. Happy Day Lee. Then his gun gets delayed by Obama. Suck it Lee. Then Lee wakes up.

I absolutely love my q701's, My dog when he was still a puppy got his paws on them... and roughed them up pretty bad.

So red k7xx are replacing my 701's

Not really a side-grade with the different drivers/etc

Gun still hasnt shipped out, W.T.F.

Cant sell the q701's for much, teeth marks everywhere lol
