1. They WERE on SALE foo :D
2. Ghot always looks for sales...just not too hard.
3. Yeah I know, but a similar Snap-ON set, would cost about 7 grand :/

/e Since I'm long past the age where I spend every weekend "tweakin my ride" ...I just wanted to have one of every thing so I don't have to even make do with a wrong tool again lol

same warranty if you buy the right ones

not 4 times the price or more

more than good for the average person

if you're a mechanic or something I would expect something different

Well when I was about 20 years younger...I was a fairly decent mechanic, self taught. I used to fix all my own cars etc. I also owned and operated a Cabinet shop as well. Now that I'm an old fart, I just decided that I wanted to have one of every tool I might ever need, till the day I die.

Since I won't be changing a starter in a ditch in the bad part of town anymore...I figured Craftsman would be fine, and they were $100 off as well.

Like when I built this last comp, I have to tighten one of the nuts on the CPU cooler back plate with long nose pliers...NOT a smart move. One slip and there goes the motherboard :/

I don't wear hats in the winter, normally. But without a car, I have to ride busses...this is just to keep the rain/snow and wind, off my head :)

Well I wanted Snap-On ofc, but compare the prices...the 59 piece Snap-On set, or the 413 piece Craftsman set
