just go to literally ANY hardware store and buy a box of anchors, its like a few bucks and they make anchors that go into drywall that can easily hold a tv

maybe. though for an expensive tv im sure i speak for a lot of people. id feel more comfortable with screws in studs stead of drywall

I guess that's not what it's called then. I know it is different than drywall though. We redid a room in my house with drywall, and the material is tremendously different.
