I'm eventually going to pick up a sub for these speakers. How the fuck do i hook up a powered sub, to powered speakers & control both sub/speakers volume together.

You have connected those speakers together with speaker wire? If so, I guess you could put for example Dayton sub 1500 between the speakers and it should control the volume that way. Not all powered subs have this option tho. This mentioned sub is pretty nice for price, another great option is Dayton sub 1200.
