even tho CPU-Z reports my mobo as a AM3  ....ti's really and AM2+...so I have the same problem that the BD folks are having with the AM3+ motherboards...it's sorta like the motherboard can't handle the CPU....YET  :)

And, it is not the FSB or whatever that the CPU's multiplier uses?

Naw I believe ya...just pissed that I got a C2 stepping and an AM2+ mobo...if I had waited like 2-3 months..I'd be rockin 4.2Ghz easy :/

I paid $100 for my 550BE (near the middle of 2009) - it did 3.6 undervolted and unlocked to 4 cores...still amazed by it today lol...amazing little chip :lol:

I believe that I have paid $100 for my other 720BE that was some time after the first.
