How can you ELITE game with out a 120hz monitor. I guess he should buy a nice big case instead.

so get him decent sub 100$ headphones, tabletop or clip on mic, cheaper sound card, and monitors with low response time and good picture.

with you cutting that much off the budget, is no longer elite.

For $2000 he can build a perfectly elite system with what i told him.
Don't feed him your crap knowledge. IF he wants $100 headphones he can build a pc for $1000
