Proper Backups will save you tons of hassle.

Updated instructions for EITHER......ONE or TWO hard drives

First get these two programs...they will work on any windows version.

Easeus Partition Master:

http://www.partition-tool.com/personal.htm

Macrium Reflect: http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.asp

For Comps with ONE HDD:
1.  Install both of these programs.
2.  Use Easeus to "resize" your system partition, to somewhere between 40-100GB
3.  Then with the remaining space, create two more primary partitions.  One at 100GB and the other with w/e is left over.
4.  Run all your cleaners, scans, reg cleaners...etc, then run disk defragmenter a few times...till it won't defrag any more.
5.  Now use Macrium Reflect to creat a FULL Image backup of your system partition and save it on the 100GB
partition you created in step #3.
6.  When using only one HDD, backing up or restoring from backup...take about 15-20 mins.
7.  Lastly, make the Rescue CD with Macrium Reflect, so you can access your backups, even when Windows won't boot.

For Comps with more than one HDD:
1.  Install both of these programs.
2.  Use Easeus to "resize" your system partition, to somewhere between 40-100GB
3.  Now, since you have TWO HDD's...you have the option to store backups of the system partition on the 2nd HDD.
4.  This is a GOOD thing, as it cuts down the backup or restore operation to 3-5 mins, because it's not reading and writing
    from the same HDD.
5.  Use Easeus again to do your partitioning...generally with 2 HDD's you will want to store your system backups on about a
100GB primary partition on the 2nd HDD.
6.  Run all your cleaners, scans, reg cleaners...etc, then run disk defragmenter a few times...till it won't defrag any more.
7.  Now use Macrium Reflect to creat a FULL Image backup of your system partition and save it on the 100GB
partition you created on your 2nd HDD, in step #5
8.  Lastly, make the Rescue CD with Macrium Reflect, so you can access your backups, even when Windows won't boot.

Generally, I make new system partition FULL Image backups after I have done a few program upgrades or installs.  This
proceedure is the best solution because when restoring your comp from a FULL Image backup (pre-cleaned backup)...it
completely OVERWRITES the system partition with your previously saved CLEAN backup...thus erasing all the cooties you
may have picked up since you made the last backup.

NOTE:  for SSD's ofc, defragging is not necessary, nor is resizing a good idea.

How to post a screen shot.

This is not the ONLY method but it will work in ALL cases, whether u run in windowed mode or not.

1. In game, use cursor to highlight item, then hit the Print Screen key on your keyboard. This will save the image to your D2 folder as: Screenshot###.jpg
2. Open Paint or w/e Image Editor you use and use FILE > Open and BROWSE to the screenshot you want in your D2 folder.
3. Edit your image to your liking, aka crop it, combine multiple images into one large image etc.
4. Then use FILE > Save as... make sure image is in .jpg form and choose "Desktop as the lacation to save the image to.
5. Now go to either www.tinypic.com or www.imageshack.com and BROWSE to the image you just saved to your desktop, and click the upload button.
6. At tinypic.com the BOTTOM link is the correct one, at imageshack.com the 2nd link from the TOP is the correct one....
7. On either site right click the CORRECT link and choose: select all, then right click then link a 2nd time and choose: copy.
8. Now it time to post you image on JSP or most any forum for that matter.
9. Create your Topic and add any text you want, like the price of the item, or taking offers etc.
10. At the top of the topic post window, is a tiny icon that looks like a mountain with a moon over it...click that icon.
11. This will create the following: yourimage in your topic...just hold the Ctrl key and hit the V key to paste your link.
12. If done correctly, it will look like this: your link here and when you preview or post your topic the image will show as it should.
13. This is the same method used to insert an avatar and/or signature in you profile...
14. The Avatar posting area in located in: Profile > Settings > change Avatar and the Signature is located IN you Profile...just click the little white icon after the word signature.
15. For plain desktop screenshots....just hit Print Screen Key and screenshot will be saved to your "clipboard"....just open your Image editor and choose: Edit > Paste. Be aware the "clipboard can only store ONE image at a time.
16. Lastly, you must have a certain number of posts (15....I think) BEFORE you CAN post images.
