Hi guys I am thinking about buying some in ear headphones for travelling.

Is it worth paying 300$ for the Bose noise cancelling ones?
Are wireless beats a decent set?

I'm also not really sure what ear insert I would find most comfortable, but I know the ones that come standard with apple products are horrible and make my ears hurt when they manage to stay in for more than 30 minutes.

I also would like to be able to sleep comfortably in them.

These are mostly for plane rides (between 2 hours and 14 hours) I would like to find something I can buy in store since I am leaving Sunday for China, but I can order online if it's worth waiting

Please let me know what the best price/comfort/performance options are and if there are any good black friday or cyber monday deals you know of!

You know, buying my HE500 removed all temptation of other headphones.

Go save up for those LCD2s that you have wanted.

I just came back from a trip in China. The two in ears I brought with me were the Alpha & Delta AD01 and Shure SE215. The AD01 is tuned more towards bassheads and the SE215 has a warm sound. Neither require an amp but I use a Fiio e12 with them for the bass boost. The SE215 is the more comfortable out of the two. They both isolate well, but I think the SE215 isolate a bit better than the AD01.

Stay away from bose/beats if you want good quality for your money. I would take a look on either Shure or Sennheiser iem's in your budget.
