Samsung unveils its 105-inch curved 4K TV, priced at $120,000

For $120,000 you're getting yourself a 105-inch curved Ultra HD TV that features a higher-than-4K resolution of 5120x2160. This provides the new 105-inch TV with an aspect ratio of 2.39:1. The usual Ultra HD resolution of 3840x2160 provides the standard 16:9 ratio, but this new Smart UN105S9 TV from Samsung features an even wider aspect ratio than the 'true 4K' resolution of 4096x2160 (1.9:1).

/e Seems LG has one as well.

Maingear Packs a 3K Display into 15-inch Pulse 15 Gaming Laptop

A new gaming laptop from Maingear might have you grunting like Tim Allen during his Home Improvement days. Slipping in between Maingear's Pulse 14 and Pulse 17 is its new Pulse 15 laptop, the thinnest 15-inch gaming laptop the company has ever assembled, though that's not the only thing that makes the Pulse 15 stand out. It's also notable for its 3K In-Plane Switching (IPS) wide-view display.

That translates into a 2880x1620 resolution. You can also output to two additional external displays at the same time using HDMI 1.4 and mini DisplayPort 1.2 ports, with support for viewing up to 4K (3840x2160).

The Pulse 15 measures 15.25 inches (W) by 10.5 inches (D) by 0.75 inches (H) and weighs just 3.75 pounds. Despite it's thin and light stature, it packs some powerful parts, including an Intel Core i7 4710HQ processor, 16GB of DDR3-1600 RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 870M graphics, and up to 1TB HDD and two 256GB mSATA SSDs in RAID 0.

It also features a 7-in-1 media card reader, four USB 3.0 ports, a single HDMI output, two mini DisplayPorts, Killer E2200 LAN, Intel 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Sound Blaster Cinema with 2.1 speaker setup, and Windows 8.

The Maingear Pulse 15 is available now starting at $2,199.

Just because no one has done it...doesn't mean they can't. ^^

That's just one sites opinion. Remember, I'm just posting the news...not recommending it. :)
