I had figured that ghot's 955 was a C3, because my C2 cannot run DDR2-1066, so I run it at DDR2-800C and further tweaked timings, and the Gigabyte tech support told me that it was because of my IMC.

yeah ur C2 can run 1066...but with a little trickery...

The secret is install 800Mhz RAM, enter the BIOS and manually set the timings for 1066 RAM and then turn off comp, install the 1066 and you're good to go...also make sure you have the latest BIOS as well

Hey, I thought that you were running your RAM at tRAS:15 and tRC:22...

I was....have to loosen it a bit for 3.9Ghz ^^

My 3+1 allows my C2 to reach a maximum of 3.2GHz which is within the 125 watts thermal envelope.

my 3+1 got my c3 to 4.2
