i was serious about windows breaking itself... toilet had a problem that made his computer like that.
he had to reformat to get rid of the problem since windows broke itself...
try a linux live cd or live flash drive tho, to confirm it's not a hardware issue.

Well they do work but only because they are amber colored lenses. They block blue uv light which is the short wave length light. You can download something like f.lux which I use or just buy yellow/orange/amber colored sun glasses and save the stupid 65 bucks.

Yes, I've literally tried just about every Cherry MX switch, even some of the uncommon/rare ones. I've tried MX black, brown, blue, red, clear, white, green. The only ones I haven't tried are greys and super blacks, but no one would really use a board full of those.

yeah linux is easy to obtain... get w/e distro using torrent, it's going to be faster.
and new mobo usually means gotta re-instal os.

ah, that's true. needs a fresh install anyways.
gonna have to rock vista for now then, cause my upgrade was done from a friend with a list of keys.
