Well that's interesting.

Netflix has worked fine on my pc for ages, Tried to watch something the other day & i get the weirdest error that just says "Sorry an error has occurred"
& random pages on the site load only text, no interface of any sort, It's been happening for a few days now.

So I google it & A ton of people are having issues with netflix over the last few days.

So out of curiosity, I launched netflix on my phone & it works just fine
Then i launch it on internet explorer, And it works just fine.

I haven't changed any settings/etc on firefox in a long time, So just in case, I turn off Adblock plus and BAM it works again.

So i'm not sure if there was a bad update on ABP that is blocking netflix completely, Or what.. But if anyone is having an issue like this with netflix atm, Here's a good thing to check.

Update;

Did a little more googling into it.

It was in fact a bad Adblock Plus update, huge parts of netflix were accidentally added to the block list file on the 27th~, Updating your lists manually through the app fixes this error & allows you to use ABP while on netflix.

I really want the Netflix app to be more responsive on 8.1. Thing takes forever to load and react.

There's a netflix app for 8.1? Like on a desktop or laptop computer?

8.1 is awful regardless dude. I hate almost everything about it. For instance: Why does it have to interrupt my session with an app window that covers the entire screen just to say my battery is low. Which then jacks with my dosbox vm.

One of the many annoyances I have with 8.1.

That doesn't solve many problems. It gives me a customizable start menu. It doesn't however change how windows 8 operates.

Individual accounts rather than individual users. No true SU accounts.

Always interrupting sessions to provide useless information. Does W8 really need to exit my session just to tell me what network I am connected to?
Why does the windows store always open when I start windows.
They default all sessions to hibernate rather than shutdown to give the illusion windows starts faster. I have to restart a session to flush the pipe so-to-speak.
Why must everything default to a useless metro app?
Why should I have to install third party software just to have access to a start menu?
Windows 8 pixel scaling is atrocious. No. Horrocious.
Using a mouse with Windows 8 takes patience just to access the side panel menus.
