As of January there are over 75 million users. Steam is tight-lipped about stuff. Valve doesn't even release any sales figures without permission because of NDA.

They say over 75 million. To me it's believeable. Late 2000's is where they dominated the digital market of video games.

Steam really has picked up steam in recent years.

they said along time ago its not anyones busy, they will never release the numbers for international,
do you know your user id?
they had more users then ps3/xbox360 combined and doubled, came out of gabes mouth on accident

It probably is more of the matter of semantics to some. Like facebook has over 1 billion "users", but that could just being lazy and counting how many registered accounts. Not true users.

No doubt that with the "adoption" of Linux has really helped them. I don't know my true user ID.
