Someone gave me an old Samsung HT-Q100 home theater system. I'm trying to set it up but having some problems.

I have and Xbox One, HT-Q100 and TV. The receiver seems to only have an HDMI out and no HDMI in. I thought I would need to put xbox --> receiver --> TV ...?

Right now I have Xbox --> TV and Receiver --> TV with HDMI and the red and white wire and I get no sound.

Is there a way for this to work like this? If I but an optical cable will I be able to make it work?

Well, I totally ended up going for the HE500 instead.. I wanted a new pair instead of a used one, and a new pair of HE560s were out of my budget.

Focus pads, after market cable and comfort strap are also ordered.

Hopefully Beyerdynamic is gonna release the new T1 2nd Edition by the end of next month. I'm really excited by this news. If the headphones are gonna sound anything like they claim it's gonna be a game-changer I think. Pretty sure I'll preorder a pair.

Female vocals with guitars encompasses about 95% of my music. The midrange on the HE500 is seriously astonishing.

Comfort is a lot better than I expected, especially with the focus pads.
