Edit: Like his said, don't use them for everything though. Only on power lifting or when you want to isolate muscles and not have the weight dependent on your grip strength. I got into the habit of using them all the time a few years back for everything and it will really fuck up your wrist. (Your arms, etc. will be stronger than your wrist and hands which will through off those stabilizer muscles.)
