this might be the first time i've seen the NKRO argument be used for typing and not gaming.

Except for it's not. At least not my half. Read carefully. I don't explicitly say 'You need NKRO for typing'. You can't even say I'm implying it because there is in fact a counterexample. Such vagueness yet people still make their own false conclusions.

I've never understood the need for backlit keys, if you are a shit typer and need to look at the keyboard, you shouldn't need a mechanical in the first place.

Just go with a cheap rubber dome that has HHUUURRR DUUURR FANCY LIGHTS.

I went with mechanical because of NKRO, better keypress accuracy, and longer life. If you are a shitty typer you probably don't need any of those.

EDIT: Let me rephrase, you won't need any of those.

"NKRO isn't for typing? Someone is a slow typist ^.^"

= You're implying that NKRO is needed(or will offer some improvement) for typing unless you're a "slow typist", which is just complete BS. Yes, you didnt explicitly say "YOU MUST HAVE NKRO OR U CANT TYPE", but not even you would say something that stupid since it'd make 99% of keyboards worthless.

If you're typing at the level that it matters, you're going to want to invest in a mechanical keyboard anyways, so it's a moot point.

I just dno why hes getting to worked up because I pointed out that NKRO really isnt something to worry about if you're just going to be typing...

Hell, you're unlikely to experience issues with the vast majority of games either. And the ones you might, rebinding keys = problem solved. Plus by using modifier keys you wont have a problem either.

False. A logical implication only exists if there is no possible counter example. First let's translate this into some logic, so we can formalize it.

N:= NKRO is needed for typing
F:= You are a fast typist

N
∴ F

As you can see, they are not even related. I could easily just toss in a P v ~P and the argument would still be just the same.

Ever taken a logic class, silent? Try using some replacement rules and other rules to get to that conclusion. It's impossible.

e. My rebuttal to your edit is as such:

You are making the mistake of categorizing everything in his list to being a shitty typist. He would more than likely talking about the longer life and higher accuracy. We can't say for certain, though; we lack proof.

No shit, as might you have. But I based my assumption on the opposite, because I was simply elaborating on NKRO for anyone who is looking to buy a new keyboard and hasnt read up on anything yet.

If you didnt have a complex, then you wouldnt feel so directly insulted and be making these butthurt replies in such a condescending manner in order to try and make yourself feel 'superior'.

One does not simply make assumptions. Learn logic, fool.

You think I do this because I'm butthurt? I'm just bored and you're easy to argue with.
