More ups. Pretty good primer. I agree on the Plasma > LCD/LED (especially in a room where you can easily control the lighting), but I would rank Panasonic ahead of Samsung. Samsung has good picture quality, but if you are one to use the Smart Apps on an Internet TV, Samsung is so full of fail in that regard, it's not even funny. Major issues with their SmartApps servers. However, if you are one to spend the money to get a good TV, don't rely on it for your Internet-based streaming apps. Get a decent Blu-ray player for that. Much cheaper to upgrade a Blu-ray player than a good TV.

As for picture quality, a good professional calibration can make a world of difference in picture quality, regardless of TV type (LCD, Plasma, DLP, Projector). Only real "avoid at all costs" disclaimer I would offer is LG's LV4400 series of LCDs. No white balance controls, so calibration is nearly useless. Plus it has an additional input delay which really messes with the setup of popular activity-based universal remotes.

Idk I've been meaning to make a headset/headphone sticky for a while.

But ghot gave him the title. I'm wondering why.

LOL. I told you my AKG K702's didn't have enough bass which is a true problem with them if you're listening to music that has a thumping beat which I do 90% of the time.

I bought headphones without being able to afford an amp, I use my Denon receiver which comes with a built in headphone amp, no it won't do the job as well as a $300-400 dedicated headphone amp but it definitely improves the sound quality.

Even if I invested in an expensive amp; it would not have significantly improved the bass...

Therefore I went for a $1000 (in norway) pair of headphones, the Denon AH-D5000 which have sooo much more bass (possibly the most in the headphone industry, save a few headphones)

What makes you think I don't know my shit?

That you have akg 702s without being amped.

That you bought an open design headphone and expected bass.

The only guy that vouches you is ghot, and let's be honest he has a shitty set up.

There are a lot of obvious signs here.
