also if it's what i think you are referring to, i don't really think trolling some gun fanatic counts as hostile, that's just me having fun

no, not talking about the DF. and i too can be a prick to people, just pointing out my observation.

That sounds like me baby. No lie.

I apologize for being hostile these last few years CHD. Life has brought me to some low places. Lowest I've ever been.

JSP is like an ex wife -- she pisses you off but you love to fuck her. Or some stupid shit like that?

Gonna need a nice little portable DAC for my B&W P5s and my upcoming MBP Retina...

Cambridge Dacmagic XS:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cambridge-Audio-DACMAGICXS-Dac-Magic/dp/B00FSDFF9K/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1431614671&sr=8-1&keywords=Cambridge%20DAC%20xs

£99.99

Audioquest Dragon Fly 1.2:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/AudioQuest-15660-Audioquest-Dragonfly-V1-2/dp/B00H00VLZQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1431614721&sr=8-1&keywords=audioquest%20dragonfly%20v1.2

£129.99

Audioengine D3:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Audioengine-Premium-Anaolgue-Convertor-Amplifier/dp/B00GCDVNHI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1431614770&sr=8-1&keywords=Audioengine%20usb%20dac

£101.59

All three look great, are tiny/light (portable), have raving 4.5+/5 star customer reviews, and well-crafted (brushed aluminimum.. ooou), well designed pieces.

So which to choose?

And of course there's the Explorer from high-end British Hi-fi company Meridian (responsible for the sound systems in Range Rovers and Jaguars and £11,000++ CD players) but that's out of the question lol.. £279.99 they crazy:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Meridian-Audio-Explorer-USB-DAC/dp/B00BCJWTAM/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1431615215&sr=1-2&keywords=Meridian%20Explorer

The P5's already sound pretty good out of the box and plugged straight into the computer so no point in buying a fancy expensive amp but cleaner/more powerful sound in an elegant and practical (match box sized) shape is very welcome. This way I can bring my hi-fi with me to school every day

Gonna have to sell my Denon D5000s tho
