next door neighbor has a complete machine shop...I'm not worried about ppl getting data off an HDD I toss  :)

1.  Crush in his 10 ton press, weld on it for a while, drill it full of holes, crush in press again...then turn (on the lathe) ..... into a nice change holder for the mantle piece  ;)
2.  And if that's not enough we could then melt it down and forge the metals into dogtags, with Peace Symbols on them and give away free at the nearest International Airport  :)

/e I think that would even slow the NSA down a bit  :D

...and if I did decide to go SSD's I'd get like 256 for OS and a cpl 1TB's for storage...no point having OS drive at 560MB/s and my storage drives at 122 MB/s :)

Like one of these for OS: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147193

and 2 of these for storage: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148696&IsVirtualParent=1

/e May have to wait till Samsung comes out with a 1TB....wouldn't want to mix controllers ;)

My goodness. I don't understand why people need all that storage... I lived with a 120gb SSD as the only drive for almost a year, and then changed to a 256 and felt I had an abundance of space.

My goodness; I don't understand why people feel the need to blanket their opinion on everyone else...

Just because you do not use your pc for anything but youtube and JSP does not mean anyone else will not use their PC for storage.

SSD are awesome though. Trim is awesome as well and SSD cuts the crap off the OS.
