ghot
you may
just have to accept the fact
that prime 95

IS NOT THE END ALL BE ALL STRESS TEST
HRRRRRRRRRNGGGGGGGGGG

Well, I don't assume that....before P95 Orthos was the one to use....times change and so do the programs we use. However, according to the OCing guide I linked...the 27.9 Version should work fine with Vishera..it had problems with Bulldozer though.

All I know is I have 4 versions from 24.x to 27.9 and they all work for me and my Vishera :)

Well yeah but yours is stock. Prime ran for 30 minutes stock on mine before it failed (the newer version). So the false positives that Prime reads scale heavily with overclocks (from what I'm gathering).

But I will give 27.9 a go and report back in.

I actually read through the whole guide....there is some surprising info, concerning the bulldozer and vishera OCing settings, and how they relate to temps and errors.

I fully realize this will be sheer torture for you, but actually read the entire guide...aka...click on all those (Click to Show) links too. Many BIOS settings that have nothing to do with cooling, but inadvertently....affect how hot / stable the various components run. Which in turn affects how stability tests run.

no....latest thought on P95 is use 27.9....all I said was on my un-OC'd comp...they all ran no problem, from v24 to the 27.9

More importantly, I'm saying that your P95 problems may not be P95...but some of the rather non-normally used, BIOS settings mentioned in that guide. I've overclocked 4-5 AMD CPU's in the last few years and I was even surprised. Tis one of the reasons, I prefer the extinct nVidia mobo chipsets and the non-UEFI BIOS's.

But I couldn't wear my old fart uniform with pride if I didn't :D
