Maybe 2 will be way better

I think they just can't figure out how to increase clock speeds and efficiency with a no-compromises arch like ryzen... because they spent so many years working with one that was nothing but compromises for clocks. Being competitive is uncharted territory now.

But for AMD's sake I hope you're right, even so a node shrink shouldn't be sipping more power.
