If any of you installed let's say GPU-Z and you had a TITAN and it showed 4GB of VRAM....would trust anything else that program said?

/e The point is....if the program is wrong anywhere, it could just as well be wrong elsewhere.

/ee @ Battleship...I see what you're trying to do...really...but I have neither the screen real estate nor any way to change the amount of VRAM in my system.

yes cuz it prolly stops searching after 4gb,

also you trust alot of temp programs and those arent accurate

a shit load of motherboards temps are off, should we not trust those too? buy new mobo until one tells me the truth

I'm on my 5th ASUS board...and so far AIDA64 Extreme has been dead accurate across all of them...even back when it was still Lavalys Everest.

Yeah, I know VRAM for SLI is mirrored...but the entire rest of the card is not...and this IS a benchmark ??

For example the CUDA cores are NOT mirrored...so 4 Titans would have a serious amount of CUDA cores available...which WOULD affect the benchmark.

Right now the only one I know of that could test this is Battleship...he has 3 GTX 680's and tons of screen real estate.

I don't know...I would assume it does...but that's the point...none of us here coded that benchmark...so it's all guess work.

If the program does use cuda cores...it may be counting them wrong as well ...the point is we don't KNOW...the ONLY thing we know for sure..is that it def counts the VRAM incorrectly. What else it may count incorrectly ...we have no idea.
