edit: Girlfriends dad told me to stock up on ammunition. He and his brother are higher-ups in an AR company. He's got information I don't, but he said the price of ammo is going to climb even higher. So for my friends on this board that enjoy releasing some energy firearms, it wouldn't hurt to at least purchase a couple hundred rounds now.

Not a bad idea if you can find a price good enough. You should also check local facebook groups. Just in my area, I've got six separate groups on FB that sell guns and ammo. I've purchased quite a few guns through that and sold 5k+ rounds of 22 LR.
