Yeah, was gonna say there should be some amps that can power those headphones for a reasonable price lol.

Also, Sennheiser HD600 Audiophile Dynamic Headphones $239 + Free Shipping

Looks like lowest price it's ever been.

your M/M stack would do a good job :)

Theres tons of equal power/sound quality amps for under half those prices. I.E o2 combo

o2 should be able to drive any headphones just as fine as those expensive ones listed.. There have been blind tests vs expensive ones and no one could tell the difference from o2. So no point to get anything better better than o2, unless you are going for Stax headphones.

Was this vs an o2 and similar amps like the monoprice or similar, or tube amps? Tube amps tend to sound different than others.

Vs other transistor based amps ofc. Tubes are different story like you know.

Yea okay was just making sure. The only difference between transistor based amps is the amount of current the output driving the cans harder. The only difference that would make them sound different is if the process of amplifying introduces noise or other garbage.

Sounds good, I love the B&W headphones... Well all except the P3s.

I bought the P5s for myself, lovely pair of headphones :)
