Exactly what I meant. Even if you get a ridiculously good price on premium high end headphones don't forget that they are usually matched with amplifiers/DACs costing the same as the cans themselves (if not more) and finding them on special offer / heavily reduced price isn't easy

Kind of amps you should look at: Woo Audio 3 ($450) or Woo Audio 7 ($1000), M/M stack etc.. Or Sennheisers own HDVD800 for fricken $2000. Two thousand dollars. Though people buying the HDVD800 would probably own the HD800..
