My point was, the up loaders are now doing that. so I don't have to. :)

Up until today, they all had the .mp4 extension, and no link to alter...aka the usual embed link.

Doesn't really matter now, as the uploaders have altered them...then uploaded, and now they HAVE the link needed for this form...2nd from the bottom usually.

/e see posts 1199 and 1200. There was no link to edit. Even the direct link to the pic doesn't work anymore. They did have a link to embed, like on your website.

They didn't change anything lol.

Was a mp4 video, and I simply replaced the extension. Although now their web host redirects mp4 extensions to gifv. The original upload format has nothing to do with it.

The images you are referring to were removed from the server and thus don't show up any more lol.

I'm sorry if it is to hard for you to press backspace 3 times and type gif when posting an image.

Still works, except they changed the extension on their side to gifv which breaks jsp lol.

If you look at my image before the change: https://i.imgur.com/fJyKotM.mp4 you can simply change the extension to have it display

Not to mention that someone physically converted your rocket into a gif, it's not even the same file.

Half the reason it works on some images and not others is the file size I assume in which over a specific size the video format for gif (gifv) must be used. Most of the time you can simply change the extension.

That's been there for ever. If you read my post, the gifv format was only used when the gifs were larger which is when the embed link was not available.
