Just use any speakers you like. Don't get them wet or put them in direct sunlight and it will be fine. You don't need "outdoor" speakers.

but anyways, ill have to bring them inside since they probly wont stand -35C during winter lol
200$ 2speakers+amp any ideas, outdoors indoors w/e

if it's from vmoda, yes it should be. they only used leather pads i believe, and all of their models should be closed back. you can try searching for aftermarket velour pads for your model.

kool man how do u know if they fit?

My old man uses server rack amplifiers and hides it in a cabinet. Also your speakers will be fine in the cold unless you get huge snow drifts and decide to crank it up to eleven to blast the snow away.

Anyone else tried out Tidal's free 7 day trial? Just signed up for it today and it's been pretty good so far.

thinking about grabbing these instead of bookshelf speakers for outdoor use

not sure what amp or receiver i should go for tho..
lepai stronk enough?

Those should be nice speakers for outdoor use at that price. Polk is pretty good company as well. Lepai should be able to power those speakers just fine. Even tho they are outdoor speakers I would not crank them on any high volumes on cold winter days.

Edit: Taking your speakers in for winter would most likely make them last longer on you.

Yeah the Lepai should suffice.

Don't HAVE to be outside speakers to be used outside but those are decently priced so its not like you'd be saving too much money going for a traditional pair of bookshelf speakers anyway.

Outdoor speakers are better choice in places where there is a lot moisture and big changes in temperatures.
