just bought the samsung 840 evo 250gb from best buy. think i'll wait for the weekend before trying to install it.

Pretty sure there are ways to check and ensure that it's compatible with your computer prior to purchasing things. Either way, your decision on how you like to purchase things. I'll pretty much buy from where ever reliable retailer has the best price (taking tax and/or shipping fees into account).

Same here.

You guys do realize newegg still has the Mushkin 240GB SSD for 125 right? Faster read write and iops than most ssd in its class; that is before you take into account its price. Trust me, I've spent the last month watching deals and imo, it's still the best for the 250gb range.

Segates on newegg whenever they are on sale I think.

Not enterprise grade though. I still don't trust hitachi.
