A magazine with its shiny coating might be a bad surface for any mouse; matte surfaces might be the best.

Other than that one spot on wiki, That shows lower MHZ.. I have yet to find on google ANY results for a "Base clock" For Ram.

And that wiki page shows no other info than the mhz numbers..

DDR has a burst length of 2 transfers. DDR2 has a BL of 4 transfers. DDR3 and DDR4 have BLs of 8 transfers, so you multiply that times the base clock for the effective speed.

I read reports of glass with something matte underneath being good for PTE, but I never tested that myself.
I assumed that the light going through glass and back might be altered negatively, but maybe it does not.
